I have heard great reviews about Lucy's Auto Shop in San Jose. Not sure if they have experience working on Hybrid cars, especially a Prius. Does anyone heard of these guys? How god are they? Thanks Raj
No, I have had nasty experiences with them. They say they are woman-owned, mechanics for life etc, but they seemed intent on racking up charges and identifying problems that didn't exist. Worse, the workmanship was lacking. (and this was a simple brake replacement we are talking about) I heard loud screeching noices 2 days after they replaced them. I took it back and they said it was bad driving on my part (the nerve!!) I saw another mechanic and he said they had used brake pads that were worn instead of brand new ones. Never going back and a complaint to the San Jose city business bureau is due.
