Wow! This isn't exactly what I expected... I'm not a communist but I've always liked the Soviet anthem and the redone version after the Soviet Union fell. I don't know Russian so I can't really tell the difference between the two. Lenin, Stalin, and other die hard commies would probably be rolling in their graves at this. (over the YouTube video) I played the MP3 I had of the Soviet Anthem and muted the YouTube video. Sure enough, it matched pretty darn well.
There has been a debate of whether or not to keep the melody of the Soviet anthem and change the lyrics. Last I checked, they have not settled on new lyrics.
