Main battery going dead?

    I have a 2007 prius with 107,000 miles. At first start up in the morning, the battery is at blue then instantly goes to black (empty) then revs up to recharge then goes to green. Like its not keeping a charge. This morning it reved up so much I thought it was going to explod. No warning lights on. Any suggestions?

    i would check for codes anyway. also clean the cooling fan and check the 12 volt health.
