daughter is taking our 2010-V Prius to college. Always used full synthetic changed oil as needed and replaced front brakes and replaced rear drum rotors?? We are at 210k and here is what we think is needed to send her off safely: Flush radiator Change spark plugs Replace plug wires ( does ours even have them??) Struts? Car is not bouncing, but struts generally recommended? 80% of our miles were interstate Replace filters... Anything else? I do plan on putting pro guard in the next tank...any things I am missing?
welcome! can you give us an idea of what maintenance the car has had? did it get the full, 100k and 120k? has it had everything since then? you're ready to do them all over again.
Go to our YouTube channel and do all of the maintenance we posted. Most likely you'll need all fluids change, air filters, check front and rear brakes and lube if needed or change them out, pcv, HV fan cleaning, spark plugs, no need to change the ignition coils because they're controlled by the ECU and don't need to change unless there's a CEL indicating there's a problem with them. Wiper inserts, check tires to see if it needs to be replaced. Check alignment for any issues. Don't think struts need to be replace unless there's issues with them.
