Hello, I am a new owner of a 2008 Prius. So far so good. One thing I liked about my old Honda Civic was that it let me know when I needed to go in for regularly scheduled maintenance by a dash readout. When I was at the Toyota dealer a few weeks ago I saw a flyer that showed the Prius Maintenance schedule and associated costs. Does anyone know where I can get a list like that? I would like to enter it into my Prius calendar to remind me when I have to go it. It there a better way to remind me that it is time to go in for maintenance? Thanks, Tom
There should be a maintenance booklet in the set of manuals that you got with your car. It doesn't have the costs though.
Go here: http://john1701a.com/prius/prius-maintain04.htm The Maintenance Light on the dash will blink and then go solid at 5000 miles, providing a reminder, whether you want it or not.
You can also get the Toyota recommended maintence here: http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/ws/guides.php?v=14&y=2008&int_id=1
