Hi guys! Recently totalled my 2006 Prius touring with all bells and whistles that generation could offer... Now I'm buying a 2008 base with impeccable maintenance records from this lady, she even installed a brand new HV battery! Of course after driving the touring for so long I am kinda disappointed by the lack of features in the base model, but I want to make it work for me. Biggest thing I miss currently is the backup camera, nice looking MFD and smart key. Anybody knows how to add on these features with aftermarket support? Would greatly appreciate any advice or links!
Sorry to hear about your '06. Hmm, I would imagine the MFD is upgradeable but won't be cheap. The backup camera is easy enough to add but I don't know if it can be plugged into the back of the MFD (base or upgraded one). I don't think you can add SKS.
