Hi folks, Looking for a mechanic in the Detroit/SE Michigan area. I’ve done a fair amount of searching on the forum and can’t seem to find any actual recommendations, although I see a now-dormant user MilkyWay was constantly referring to “his mechanic” in Ann Arbor (which is certainly close enough for me to get to, if they’d ever named the mech!). Is there anyone in my area who has a mech they like for their hybrid system? My regular guy is great but can’t work specifically on the hybrid stuff; he recognized a fault with my ABS (2011 Prius) but didn’t want to fiddle with it as his guys don’t have the experience. I’ve been calling places since then and have had zero luck (I know, I’m in Detroit, what did I expect). Will take it to a dealer as a last resort, but I was really hoping to find an independent shop.
