On Friday, June 16th, we are honored to host Mayor George Heartwell of Grand Rapids as the evening’s keynote speaker. Author and green building advocate Dr. Daniel Chiras will keynote at the Fair on Saturday, June 17th in the afternoon with a speech entitled, Re-Energizing America: Rescuing America from its Costly Fossil Fuel Addiction. Saturday evening, join us as we present a keynote by David Konkle, Energy Coordinator for the City of Ann Arbor, as he presents Report from the Ann Arbor Energy Office - Moving a City to Renewable Energy. On Sunday, June 18th, we are happy to present Manistee County local environmentalist David Milarch of the Champion Tree project to present the afternoon keynote address. His speech is entitled Sustainable Ecosystem Watershed Restoration. The Michigan Energy Fair will be held June 16-18, 2006 at the Manistee County Fairgrounds in Onekama, Michigan and will provide energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable living education in a fun festival atmosphere.
