Mileage Descending Donner Pass (eastbound)

    I can't resist posting the photo below:

    159.0 mpg for the 10.7 miles from Donner Pass on I-80 to my motel southeast of downtown Truckee. For the day, which started in the San Francisco Bay Area and first climbed to Donner Summit, I averaged about 48.0 mpg for 200 miles.
