New hybrid battery replacement but milage fluctuating. When driving 70 or Avove it’s showing 19/20 . But little jam instant drip 8 km. I am in tension. What should I check ??
I’m thinking 19/20 is kilometres per liter? If so, that converts to 47 miles per US gallon. And this is at speed 70 kilometres per hour? Then it drops to 8 kms per liter (19 mpg) if you’re slowed due to traffic jam? All of this seems normal. I would continue driving, calculate based on liters required to refill the gasoline tank and the distance travelled since last fill. Do this for several tank fills, and you will have a better estimation. How is the display of hybrid battery state of charge; does it go up and down gradually, stays between half and three quarters usually?
