The homelink mirror on my 2010 Prius IV is loose - not attached firmly to the windshield. It wobbles up and down, but not side-to-side. I'm pretty sure I bought it like this. Any ideas on what to use to glue it firmly (and permanently) to the windshield?
There are two bits there: the part that's glued to the windshield is just a small metal plate; the mirror mount slides onto the plate, and is then secured by a little set screw, which can get loose. Mine wobbled when I bought it and I only needed to snug down the set screw; the glue was still fine. Are you sure that's not what you're seeing? Regluing the plate to the glass is a fussier job, if you have to do it, but they do sell the stuff. -Chap
