Does the LRR Load resistance roll effect traction? I live in the ATL. I want maximum fuel efficiency but also need good traction for rain and windy roads. Costco, where I’ll buy my tires have very good deal right now. I’m looking at the Goodrich gForce and the Bridgestone Ecopia.
There is a trade-off between tire life, efficiency, wet/dry/snow traction, road noise, breakaway characteristics, etc., but modern LRR tire compounds attempt to optimize that balance (from their own perspective). Ultimately, your comfort with any given tire is the deciding factor. Unfortunately, I'm unaware of any place that offers a 'try out period' on tires.
