MPG HAS GONE DOWN

    Hi guys,
    So i was hoping to get some help/ suggestions. I have owned my prius for one year now and have had no problems with it at all. But in the last coupe weeks i have noticed my MPG has gone down, and now i get about 22 MPG from the 43 that i was usually getting. Any ideas why? i was thinking maybe it has to do with the big Hybrid motor/ battery and wondering do i need to get a new one? Help!!

    very possible, but determining the actual problem can be very difficult if no dash lights have come on.
    would a new prius be out of your budget?

    i do not know, o/p has another thread about the brakes, car won't stop, but now says no problems at all?(n)
