The hydrogen EV is a Mercedes F Cell which is a small crossover with CD of 0.24. All these figures are approximations. In an EV using the air conditioner or heater will subtract 0.5 to 1 mpg off these numbers. Hills also affect MPG +/- several units. So essentially the hydrogen fuel cell has MPGe like a 1 liter three cylinder car. In terms of well-to-wheel "cleanliness" it is rated by cleanercars.org as "42%" which is no better than a Mercedes or BMW diesel. The Prius and Insight were rated 54% and 58% respectively.
