I have a 2012 Prius V. Multiple lights stay on when it is started (see photo). I recently replaced the 12 Volt battery. The brakes and tire pressure were checked are OK. Any idea what is going on here? Thanks in advance for any advice.
You need to have the trouble codes read by using an OBD2 scan tool. If you do not own a scan tool and what to buy one, read this tread: https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3290690
Alternatively, if you do not have ready access to scan tool, I believe this method will show you what the codes are, for the skiddy-car, ((!)), ABS, and tire pressure lights that you have: Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to. | PriusChat The "MAINT REQD" light is strictly a miles-based reminder to get your oil changed. A scan tool is more convenient and can show more information, but the blink method can at least tell you what your car is complaining about, while you haven't yet picked out a scan tool.
Without getting the codes it's tricky but it looks like you maybe getting started on the brake problems. The parking brake is not set in this picture? Once that red brake light starts going on and it's not the brake pedal depressed the emergency brake pedal depressed that is yeah. No beeping yet? Car drives and runs? Car drives and runs?
The parking brake is not set. I even tried setting and unsetting it a couple of times and doing this does not change the dash lights. The car does start and run.
And if you drive it up and down your street do the brakes feel any different than they did yesterday or the day before or before the lights were on? Just curious.
Do you have anything constantly plugged into OBD port, weighing on it? Have you driven it thus? If so, anything feel off?
If she has access to the web, maybe she can review the method on this page, and tell you what the trouble codes are: Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to. | PriusChat
