How do I put quotes in from different poster when I reply to a topic? I know if I select reply in a post, it will quote that post, but how do I get quotes from say three or four responses before?
Here's one option: You can highlight the text you want to quote. When you do that, a button appears under the reply box called [Add Selected Text As Quote]. You have to hover your mouse over the reply box for the button to appear. By doing this, you can add a quote, reply to it, add another, reply to it, etc.
Here's another option: Use the "Quote" button beside the "Reply" button. Hit "Quote" for each post you want to quote, then hit the "Add Reply" button at the bottom or top of the page.
If you quote more than one in a short period of time, the BBS will automatically group them together. For example, hit reply and a quote appears, add your text, and post your reply. It will show as a posting. Hit reply for the next one you want and do the same steps, when you post your reply, it will automatically get grouped with the first one. I haven't tested the time limit, but you have plenty of time to reply. Tom
