Just about every warning light came on including the hybrid system warning light I have no idea what's wrong with the car I've only had it for a month someone please help
So sorry this happened to your "new to you" car. Dealer purchase? Warranty? How many miles on the car? Is Dothan in GA? If so and if the battery has a fault, it has an 8 year, 100,000 mile warranty. If you're in a CARB state, it's 10 years and 150,000 miles. But you'll never know what is wrong without a Prius capable code reader, which you won't find at most places that read codes. There are other possibilities besides a bad battery. Gotta have the codes or you're stuck.
Welcome! A Toyota dealer is the best place to get the codes read. When you get them, post them here for further advice from Prius veterans. I m still a relative newbie myself.
This is a good example where, at a minimum, country or, if US, state should be specified as a minimum location. Advice varies based on the geographic location of the problem under discussion.
Go back to basics is you haven't got access to a dealer. Charge up your LV battery in the boot and then test it out again. Check for blown fuses in the main fuse box. Let us know you go
always check the 12 volt battery first... low voltage causes all kinds of warning lights and problems
Check the 12v battery it under the cover in the rear on Passenger side remove top cover and tray then the little cover over battery. If you can't pop tbe hatch there a fuse box under the hood left side in the fuse box there a red cover Under it there is a +post jumper cables it there. Black to Non painted metal other end to the other car battery After hatch open 12v off 14v on if less bad battery Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
@Brandi Stewart , always check the 12v first, no matter what problem. it's easy to eliminate as a possible culprit.
