The modules of the HV battery supposed to be balanced meaning within .1 or .2 difference. But when I removed the harnesses in order to charge each modules I found that my modules are alternately different by about .4v meaning the first would be 8.1v then the next one is 7.7v. And it would alternately be like that down the pack. Is that normal?
The car is only able to monitor the voltages in blocks of two, so as long as those pairs kept adding up to roughly the same 15.8 or so, the car wouldn't know any better. But no, it isn't ideal.
