    TTS technology has come a long way but every now and then my guy says says something pretty funny.
    I have the Garmin Nuvi 660 with a choice of English, Australian, and British English in male and female voices. I think it's all the same guy and gal, with just a slight change in pronunciation. My British guy is probably the funniest. Here are my favorite:

    West Edmonston = Wes Ed Monster (I have now nicknamed him Wes Ed Monster)
    Flatiron = flat-a-ron
    12th ST NW = Twelfth Saint Northwest (he's quite capable of interpreting ST as "street" -- but not when it's followed by another word)

    How does your GPS do?
