Well, today's my last day! Whooopppieeee! I'll be off to Utah from Saturday the 11th (flight leaves at 6am <growl>) until next Sunday the 19th. Should be a great time - looks like we might see quite a bit of snow, which is something I got to see none of this year in SC. So if you leave me emails or PMs expect a slower than normal reply (no comments from the peanut gallery on this one). As for the future - well, keep an eye out for some new things coming
Congrats on this new step/phase in your life Danny. I wish you the greatest success. And have fun in Utah...going to get any skiing in while you're there or is this purely for basketball or what?
Congrats and good luck! I myself am doing the opposite, heading down to FL for a week to escape the New England drear...
Might do some skiing, though my ACL/MCL reconstruction from 2000 is still fresh in my mind when I do activities like that, so I'll probably stick to some tubing or something. Here's our schedule: Saturday, March 11 Vernal, UT Sunday, March 12 Moab, UT Monday, March 13 Green River, UT Tuesday, March 14 Park City, UT Wednesday - Sunday for the NCAA games (games on Thurs/Sat) Salt Lake City
It's going to be 78 here in Columbia tomorrow, but 37 with a 50% chance of snow in SLC when we touch down. I have no idea how I'm going to dress to the airport. Hahaha
I'm jealous! I wish today was my last day working for the man. I'm ready to retire! Have fun on your trip... get some snowboarding in for us all!
If you are worried about your knees, you could try Ski Biking. Have yet to do it myself, but it looks like a blast! http://www.ski-bike.org One of the guys in the member profile area even mentions that he was still recovering from ACL surgery.
Also snowboarding is known more for upper extremity injuries rather than lower. Seems having both legs strapped to the same board provides more reinforcement and less torque on the individual limb. So maybe snowboarding would be a good alternative.
