Picked up my 2019 XLE last Wednesday. Loving it so far! Got my ODB2 device today to geek out on those customizations like getting rid of the infernal backup beeping, etc. I saw some people kvetching about black interior recently but I like it because I have very light-sensitive eyes that can't deal with glare.
Me too. The white is awful to my eyes. I want the interior to disappear. I couldn't find a black interior locally so I bought 1500 miles away (and got a better deal).
Congrats! It is going to take time for me to get use to seeing "XLE" or "LE" or "L" attached to the end of PRIUS.
On the 2012 they came out with the "bright" idea of putting big silver stripes on the otherwise black steering wheel. They reflect nicely in the window on sunny days. 8-( I went to a hobby shop and got something called "Denso Abbadon Black" paint for plastic figurines. Turns out it works on steering wheels too. I also painted out the chrome strips on the upper air vents. Now you can color me happy.
