being a newbie i figured i could get away with this here, lol!! :evil: you know how some people say that the Prius is ugly and boxy-looking. well, i personally really like the way it looks. although i do think the color choices are a bit limited.... and i have a secret fantasy about what i'd like to do to my Prius.... you know that REALLY EXPENSIVE paint job that changes to about 6 different colors as you move around the car? i don't know what it's called, but you usually see a few at car shows. if i had a couple grand to throw around i'd have my Prius done in the paint. how cool would that be !!!!! :cheer2:
I believe you are referring to iridescent paint and I don't think you'd get very far on $2000. Here is a link for a Mustang: The narrator said $15000 for the paint job.

there is local shop in town that charges around $1800 i believe, at least that is what a co-worker paid for his about 2 years ago or so. i will ask him to be sure
Me, I'd like to have my Prius all decked out like a Star Trek shuttlecraft, with markings on the seats, and blue lights underneath and . . . Oh. Nevermind. Well, it was my fantasy.
