what do you want it for? can't insure until you take possesion, can't register dealership has to, wil do you no good.
I've been checking BuyaToyota.com (for the Southeastern region only) looking for mine. I have seen some cars that have partial numbers showing. I assume the full number shows up by the time it reaches the dealership. I would settle for a partial number as it approaches but I can't get the vin soon enough. It tells me it is my car. It would also allow me to login as an owner on Toyota.com and download documents like the owners manual.
I never got one either I wanted one because I wanted to make sure that my car that they said was coming to me (3.5 weeks between saying there was one in allocation to me and me actually getting it!!!) got to me and that they did not sell it out from under me!!!!!!!!!
I got a certified letter yesterday saying my car would be at the dealership anytime between yesterday and this coming Tuesday. 17th -22nd. I called to verify, as they told me before to expect delivery 12th Sep. They gave me a VIN number, but I wasn't able to register it on Toyota.com. The program didn't recognize it. Is that because the dealer hasn't received the vehicle yet?? I am on pins and needles!! I want it to come today!!!!!:attention:
I got the vin # from my dealer about a month before I got the 2008 prius. When he gave me the vin #, he also told me the car was on a ship on the way over here. When the car came in, he asked me the vin # so he could go out into the lot and locate it. I got the car with the correct vin #.
I found out my 2008 Prius I ordered came in with a 2006 navigation software. so much for being up to date.
nice choice of color, a nice silver strip down each side rely looks nice and if you have the beauty rims on the mag wheels they just pull off and the car looks so much better. Your in for a real treat!
