Rebuilding a slightly damaged 07 Prius I just purchased. I had to purchase a coolant heat storage tank and can't figure out where this red connector goes. Unfortunately the girl I purchased it from had it rigged up improperly by a shop that didn't know what they were doing. Now I'm trying to fix there mistakes.
Any ideas? I've looked at numerous front end rebuilds and cant seem to find this. The wiring that came with the canister was cut from another car. My car which was rigged pretty badly and was missing the pump attached to the canister. The canister had been zip tied on and the bracket was missing. I could easily find where the other connectors attached to. This red one doesn't seem to match up to anything that I can find. I was worried that something else had been removed that I'm not aware of. Surly someone can pop the under-tray and take a look or picture would be nice.
Wiring diagram? Only $15 to get into techinfo.toyota.com for two days. In some weather you'd have to pay me that much anyway to go pull off panels and take pictures in the driveway.... -Chap
Negative on both of those. I appreciate the reply's. Most connectors on vehicles will only plug into what they are suppose to. Those two are pretty obvious. The funny thing is in that diagram it doesn't show that red connector at all.??? I was thinking maybe a fog light which this car doesn't have but would be in the general area where this is mounted. May have to take a trip to Toyota once I get her back together.
