Sure! Press the Menu button, then "My Places". Enter the POI or address. You have a chance to put a name in before saving it. Then when you want to go to that location, you can select "My Places" in the "destination" screen and pick the appropriate point. You can store 101 places.
You can't save routes on the built-in NAV system, so there is no way to name them. You can save destinations, and those you can name. Tom
