Nav DVD email version 11.1?

    does anyone know if the new version 11.1 will work in a GenII?

    Just got an email add for the newer 11.1 for $169

    Yes, they have different versions for the different generations of Nav units. Just let the dealer know your model year and Nav generation. Of course they should know the Nav generation from the model year.

    Hey... THANKS for that link. Would you (or anyone else reading) know if this updated DVD will prevent me from using the override that allows us to input addresses while the vehicle is in motion. The latest disc I have (few years old) was obtained on CL and the seller merely modified the disc copy so that I can still have the override. Anyone know???

    yes, the override function was removed a few Nav updates ago! It is the only reason why I have not updated my Navigation system. I still run version 5.1
