Navigation System Reset Itself

    I have a 2007 Prius. Yesterday, I started normally and put the car in reverse when I noticed a delay in the backup camera screen...and then when I entered the Navigation system, I noticed it had reset itself to a default state.

    It lost all my previous destintation points and it even reset to a different geographic area. I re-entered the settings I needed, but I wonder why it reset? Any ideas?

    Have you replaced the original 12v battery lately? If not, it could be the battery is getting weak.
