2013 Prius with almost 190k miles. A few weeks ago, the car kicked hard while I was driving 5mph, then every light on the dash came on, including the “Check Hybrid System” light. Got a code reader and got the following codes: P0A94 - DC / DC Converter P0A1A - Generator control module C1310 - Speed wheel RF comparison failure C1241 - Low battery positive voltage C1310 - Unknown issue/Abs The repair estimate the code reader gave was astronomical, and my family member said they think they may be able to repair it if I can buy the correct parts. Has anyone seen anything like this before? And would it be worth it to try to replace the GCM before I mess with the DC converter? Any advice or guidance would be incredibly helpful right now.
Your inverter problem is probably covered by a 20-year extended warranty. Do NOT clear the trouble codes. Take the car to your local Toyota dealership for diagnosis. If the inverter is covered, it will not cost you anything for the fix.
