Since these cars start to burn oil at about 150K, would it make sense to do the rings before installing it? I mean, after using a boroscope to check that the motor they sent isn't all scored up inside. Normally people just live with the oil problem, but if the engine is already out of the car, sitting right there, seems like half the battle has already been fought.
