About a year ago I made a PowerPoint presentation about how Toyota's HSD works, specific to the Prius. You can view it here: http://www.chicagopriusgroup.com/resources...ota_HSD-web.pps You can quickly identify the MFD parts as being from the 2004-2005 Prius with the Lo-Res display. I would really like to replace those antiquated pictures with pictures from the Hi-Res screen.
Thanks, Ichabod. Actually, that temperature looks pretty familiar. I've seen it way too much lately. Or actually, not enough since we've been on the South side of that for too long. Keep 'em coming. My thought is the more I have, the better. If you change the color scheme, will it change the black background? I would really love a shot without the black-on-black tires and top of the engine(?).
The only other color choice on the high resolution screen is Orange-on-black. I'm afraid the tires will look black-on-black no matter which setting you choose.
Do you need shots of other functions, like with different arrow combinations? I assumed from your powerpoint that you only needed one plate that you could put your graphics on top of, but if you want I can do it with all the different arrows too (I'll have to be careful not to crash while composing those shots though ). As Manksgloob says, there's only black on black, so that's going to be a photoshop job to get a transparent background.
Here are two high res pics of the high res screen. WARNING these have 8 Million Pixels! This one has some blue bars. http://stuff.jaygroh.com/priuschat/hires/DSC02985.JPG This one is clean so you can insert your own bars. http://stuff.jaygroh.com/priuschat/hires/DSC02986.JPG
Wow, that's beautiful! I never realized that the newer screens look that much better than my 2004 Prius!Â

Theforce, Your pics have parallax, lens distortion, and glare, so mine wins! I hope you didn't run your battery down intentionally just to get that shot!

The more I look at it, the more I think it was one of those really thick ones with a really dull point. On Force's pictures, you can make out the ridges from the tread around the top of the front-right tire.
