Hi All; This is my first time here. I bought a 2013 Prius C with a bent wheel and hub, which I replaced. Now I'm finding out that they have a different brake system, and I know nothing about bleeding the brakes. Please help if you can. Sincerely, DaleT
See the Repair Manual (more info), under Brake: Brake System (Other): Brake Fluid: Bleeding. This section begins: “CAUTION: The Techstream [i.e., a Toyota Techstream diagnostic system connected to the car] must be used for air bleeding. If not used, the air bleeding will be incomplete, which is hazardous and may lead to an accident.” It goes on to explain the procedure, including how to use Techstream to tell the computer that controls the brake system (the skid control ECU) to do its part, which I understand involves operating the valves in a certain sequence.
