Hey guys, I've narrowed my rims decision to three sets of Volk Racing rims: a: 15" SR-08's b: 16" TE37's c: 17" TE37's The SR-o8's would definitely be lighter than stocks and be a bit cheaper, 16" TE37 hopefully be same weight as stocks and 17"s probably be heavier. Would 17" be too big? Thanks for any feedback
I have 16X6.5 on my car and I am thinking of getting 17X7.5 or 8. I like how the 17" look on the car. Someone on Instagram posted a prius C with a 17" wheel and it looks good. I might be selling my set of wheels to get the Motegi Track Lites and having it powder coated to the color I have now.
15s offer the best fuel economy. 17s offer the best handling and looks but the worst fuel economy. 16s are a happy medium between performance, looks and fuel economy. I'd look up what LRR tires are available in a 16" and 17" size. Unless you don't care about losing 4-8mpg.
