Need Help...My Avatar picture is upside down

    I use a Mac desktop. I have a picture on my desktop that is right side up. I clicked to put it in my Avatar and it turned out upside down. Does anyone know how I can change it?
    PS I am not a computer whiz.

    Actually it looks turned 90° to the right, how about having the Mac take the pic and set it 90° to the left, by the time you upload the new pic it should come out right side up!

    I tried it with a different computer and got it to work.
