Hi there, I'm trying to figure out the best possible lease deal available in California (I'm based in Los Angeles) for a Prius. Looking to lease something by April 1. I feel like the prices that they're using are being padded because of the high gas prices, but it doesn't seem to make real sense when I break down the numbers. The Prius IV lease prices are higher than getting an A4 or a BMW! I don't really care about any of the upgrade options other than leather. I'm not sure if I need navigation - the only reason I want it is for the rearview camera. Is the Nav worth the extra cost? I want a lease for 24 or 36 months, don't want to put anything other than tax/title/tags down, and need 10k miles per year. I'd love to get as close to $300-350 a month including tax as possible. Is that realistic? Whats rates and deals are out there? I know that the best way to do this is to negotiate the price as if I'm buying the car and then back into a leasing price. I was quoted $462/month inc tax for a Prius IV, and $329/month for a Prius II with leather interior installed. What are the current residuals and money factors for a Prius II w/ leather and a Prius IV? I've had trouble finding those numbers. Thanks! Ashley
The prius is becoming a hot car again, because of the gas prices. Also, depending on the extent of damage to Toyota's factories and shipping centers in Japan due to the earthquake/tsunami, they may get even hotter. If you need the car, get it NOW!
Ashley, that sounds very feasible. I did ask you to call me or email me in another post. Perhaps if I ask here in your own thread, you'll do it.
Ashley I got an ad the other day from Toyota of Glendora for zero down at $350 a month. Pretty sure that deal goes the same with other Toyota dealerships if you're not near Glendora. It's for a 2011 PriusII.
