I live in the Jacksonville fl area(Lake City) and am in need of a hybrid battery for my 2006 prius gen2 and need to know if anyone knows of a shop in the area does installs or am I better off doing it myself.
If you have to ask, you probably should NOT do it yourself. Have you done any Google or Bing searches ?? AND.....the prices seem to have come WAY down in the past year or so. Have you checked with a Toyota dealer or two ? They might offer a "rebuilt" battery and the price might surprise you. At least then you would have a reference to compare other prices to.
Sorry, thought I replied to this. I can easily send one to you to have I stalled by your usual independent mechanic. I'd be happy to help provide some guidance to them if needed. Do you have a usual mechanic you use?
