Toyota service dept says I need a new A/C compressor, $1,300 repair job (including evac. and refill to diagnose)! I'm in shock that a 2004 with 78k has a bad compressor. Any suggestions on whether to install a salvage part versus new unit, and recommendations on a specific salvage supply/used parts vendor? Thanks for any input.
