So Bruiser (2007 FJ Cruiser) is now in the hospital, surgery tomorrow (see "A little good from the bad" a few pages back). Unplugged Pearl S from the "Battery Tender", backed her out of the garage, and got stuck in the snow. Hmmm. Those tyres didn't seem that bad a month or two ago. Oh yea, p-brake was on! Duh! Took me three tries to turn the heater on (what button is that again?)! Took me a while to remember where each readout was on the dash. After 10 min or so I was ok. Got home and put Pearl S back in the garage and went into the house to relax. Then I realized I forgot to put the fuse box cover back on when I unplugged the battery tender! So that was what was rattling. It was still there at the front of the engine compartment, no damage. Whew. Good thing the Toyota engineers designed it well. Hey, I also just got out of surgery, so that's the excuse I'm using! You know, I enjoy driving Bruiser in the winter, but Pearl S is also a hoot. In a different way (such as getting 3 l/100 km cruising down the Yellowhead at 70 km/hr - IN THE WINTER!).
