New and confused

    I have a 2013 Toyota Prius 2, every time I hit the brake pedal the LED lights around my brake lights Flash and Go Crazy. Any ideas from anybody why?

    Did you buy it used? It’s possible the previous owner added a flashing module to the brake lights.

    I've driven the car for about 7 years and never had a problem. To the best of my knowledge because somebody told me this happened about 6 months ago. That's when it started.

    Maybe the LED board is on its way out? I’ve had LED lamps flicker when the the connections (I assume?) were wearing out. It never actually failed since I eventually got annoyed with the flickering so I never knew if the bulbs failed or if there was something worn out (like a worn solder or something)

    Thanks for the help. I have a direction to go in now. I'll see if I can figure something out with the led board. Thanks again!
