2010 Prius. I recently replaced the 12v battery because it was reading low. Autozone only had a duralast 12v, so I bought that one, connected it exactly as the old battery and hooked up the little hose to the battery also. After a couple hours the "check hybrid system" came on and the car could not go into drive or reverse. Funny thing is, I towed to a mechanic and when we turned it on it went into gear like nothing was the matter. But, then the "check hybrid system" came back on and car would not go into gear. Should I go get an optima battery or do you all think this issue has nothing to do with the new battery?
