A few more details on the bZ Compact SUV from the spider7 website. Partial translation: "The body size of the bZ compact SUV concept is 4538mm in length, 1888mm in width and 1560mm in height. Compared to the European RAV4 (length 4600mm, width 1855mm, height 1650mm), it is 62mm shorter, 33mm wider and 90mm shorter." Let's compare to the 2022 European C-HR (current version): 4390mm in length, 1795mm in width and 1565mm in height So even though the bZ compact SUV is smaller than the RAV4, it still is larger than the European measured C-HR by 148 mm in length (5.8 inches) and 93 mm in width (3.7 inches). It is 5 mm lower in height than the C-HR. The bZ compact SUV is impressive in width for a small vehicle. It easily beats the Lexus NXh and almost in the same league as the new RZ 450e. https://spyder7.com/article/2022/12/11/17054.html edited to add link
Yeah that's quite a wide car for its length. But I mean even the CH-R is 5mm shy of 1800mm in width. Isn't that (or wasn't that?) the threshold for Japanese cars to be considered a wide car (not sure for parking spots or special tax brackets)
