Anybody notice that after the last Entune update on Android, that the message "Entune is listening" no longer appears in the notifications bar? And that Entune ISN'T listening any more? I went to look at weather the other day via Entune and got a "The connection failed" message, until I manually ran Entune on the phone. It always used to automatically be listening.
It looks like they fixed that. It was a huge complaint from customers on the Android app stores. There's a lot of notes on there now that the constant notifications and such are gone.
Looks like the early January release. It used to endlessly listen in the background and prompt notifications based on older reviews.
Hmmm... apparently the fix isn't universal, because mine's not listening at all until I run the app on the phone. Nuts.
That may be the fix. The old issue was it would not stop listening basically ever, so people would see endless notifications. The way you describe it working seems more like how it is on iPhone. Maybe someone with an Android phone can chime in as I'm not too familiar with that version of the app.
