Hello All! Well i purchased my new (New to me that is) 2002 Prius and have had it for a week now and i must say i absolutely love it! :rockon: My old vehicle got, on a good day, 15 miles to the gallon! I drive 80 miles a day, That's 5 gallons a day! 5 gallons! :nono: Now im getting 40!:bounce: I can't wait to drive it each day. It's such a smooth drive. The stock speakers are great and the leg room is astonishing. I would highly recommend the Prius to anyone.
Also i was wondering, when the low fuel light comes on how many miles can i go before empty? i know this has probably been asked before but i was thinking another 40 miles or am i being to bold?
Welcome to PriusChat and congrats on your Prius acquisition. I'm not sure on the Gen I about how many miles to empty, but there's plenty of confirmation here on PC that when the light starts blinkin' you best be thinkin' (about gas)!
