    I originally bought this for someone's birthday but decided to give them something else.

    It was advertised to be a new, open box unit. I bought it off eBay, and the seller's ad said he was located in Miami. Instead, the unit arrived from Honduras but there's no reason to believe that the unit is different than one from the US.

    You will need to purchase the Toyota specific harness from Quick Connect in order to install it into your car. The harness costs about $40.
