Hi everyone Just had it for a month or so and I’m thinking why didn’t I buy it sooner. I have a few questions which I did not seem to find using search option, Q1 after driving around and the hybrid battery is 50% - 80% then parking it overnight, when I come back to it in the morning or afternoon hybrid battery drops to 2 bars without fail every time, so is this normal on a Prius? Q2 on a cold start when engine is warming up the hybrid battery charges up a little simultaneously, for the most part I’ve not seen white smoke come out of the exhaust at that time, however when I’m driving in city streets and hybrid battery is used more and then depleted, the engine kicks in and starts ( seems to me like it’s charging the hybrid) at this point a lot of smoke can be seen from the exhaust is this normal? The engine sound at these two times compared to when I’m driving and engine switches from hybrid to ICE IS GENERALLY more louder/rumblings sound. I would appreciate any feedback or just to reassure me if this normal or not. Looking forward to the response iPhone ?
congrats and welcome! 1) sounds like your hybrid battery is aging rapidly 2) same with your engine how many miles on her?
