Hey All, I've been lurking for quite some time while researching a new Prius. Pics to come. Took the plunge today. I bought a Package 4 '08 in Seaside Blue. Lots of gadgets to learn how to use. I commute 50 miles each way to work so I'm excited about better mileage than the truck I was using (20 mpg :rant to commute. This forum is a great resource. Cheers, Steve

Its good to have yet 'nother Merlin owner posting, Can't have too many owners flickted with the high MPG, low plushin idear can we? 50 mahl commute, you going from Naplis to dahntan Ballamer or Warshnin? What, maybe an ahr or so on the road? Get yer tars up to 42/40, set yer meers so you can see out the winders what's out behin. Be safe out there.
Congrats on the new Prius my fellow newbie. Since you commute 50 miles one way , the Prius is a great choice to save on gas. 20 mpg to me now is just a plain waste of gas. Enjoy the ride.
We've been taking it easy with it all weekend long. The break in period will take me a few weeks. So far we like it...lots of room inside...surprisingly a lot of room for the kids in the back seat. For Rokeby: "yeh, I be drivin' from Naplis not Balmore way, but mo towids, washnin' DC. I hang my hat in Virginny. Tanks fer the advice, gut mu tars set and um rarin' to go."
