Hey guys! I've wanted a Prius for a looong time, and as of last week, I finally bought a 2012 Prius Three! I am loving the car so far. THE 3 SKS FEATURE!!!! It's always a little game with the HSI and trying to stay in the low-mid eco area. I've been browsing the forum, but still have a lot to learn about using the Prius! I appreciate any tips you can give me here One important questions I have so far... Should I buy an unlock/reflash (pre-owned) keyfob from ebay and have a locksmith reprogram it? That's ~$90 + $50 to program, compared to $350+ at dealership or $225 at Art's Automotive in Berkeley. I've read few threads about buying "new" keyfob on ebay and doing it this way. I can't find any "New" one on ebay. My friend is strongly against doing it this way since it may not work and can run into complication. 2012 Prius Three 81k mileage Cost: $10.3k + tax from dealership.
