Well I did it. Went in this Sat only wanting to look at a Prius and figure out if financially it made sense. Ended up trading in my 05 Hyundai Tucson (should have just went PP) and Getting an 08 Silver Package 2 Prius. Bought it Sat, got a flat tire Sunday had to pay $20 to fix and mount it, I have terrible luck I guess. Unlike my other cars though I was forewarned that my tire was going flat which even in that time of frustration (Changing to the spare in 30deg weather in my nice work clothes) I found to be sweet. So far at 200 miles I'm averaging over 40mpg which was a little surprising after reading some people on here complain about low mpg in new cars in cold weather, my Tucson only got maybe 19mpg so I'm happy with anything over 40. So I'm happy. Thanks for all the good info, Dru
Mmm, it's usually a bad idea to buy something that fast, but congrats. Read and follow the owner's manual and the scheduled maintenance guide. They will save you money and trouble. Did the flat have an obvious cause?
