Just started to install the taillights from the group buy. Special thanks to Rodney aka Hawaiian... Picked up the kit yesterday directly from K2 in Walnut. Great group of guys. The kit looks pretty good so far, its different from the oem. I like the black housing that goes around the taillight. It fits well with my white/black theme. The signal area could of been better, my led bulbs are not as bright as the oem's but will have to see it at night. Here are some pictures: (will update the finished install later tonight)
HEY JAMES !!! The folks at Spec D Tuning / K2 Motor are awesome !!! The install of the new tails look great on your Prius !!! The New Taillamps come with Standard OEM Signal bulbs. And the brightness output is the same as OEM. James, because you modified the Signal Bulbs with LEDs, I would suggest locating an LED with a Higher Output for better visibility. In your last picture, your parking lamps are on correct? At night the output is just as bright as OEM !!! And the brake LEDs are located between each of the Parking Lamp lights. And as you can see they match the brightness of the OEMs. Looks great James !!! Rodney
