New-to-me 2006 Prius with Package 8; what 'series' is it?

    Hi everyone,

    I'm the very proud new owner of a beautiful 2006 Prius with package 8.

    What I'm trying to figure out is what 'series' is it? When I registered at the reliability website, it didn't give me an option to choose package 8 when it asked me for a 'series'?

    Any way to determine the 'series' by the VIN perhaps?

    Or is 'series' the same as 'package'?

    Thank in advance for any insight anyone might have.

    (I used to live in Covington, although it was not incorporated then, I still have family in Black Diamond, with a Prius v)

    Unfortunately, there was no option to choose 8, thus my confusion.

    AH, there is no Model 8, but two options above that there is a Package 8.

    Ah yes - I see that now and have changed it.

    But I'm still wondering what "series" or "model" do I have?

    it's a prius, package 8. there is no other model or series. i don't know why they're asking, unless the questions are generic for all cars.
