Hello forum. My family is new to the Prius game, have a garnet '11 in pretty low spec, but we are enjoying it immensely. The seats are uncomfortable, the interior is a bit buzzy, but my wife & I enjoy the fuel economy. Purchased it second hand from a reputable specialist in our town. I'm a mechanic specializing in ancient german autos myself. Always told customers that complained about Teutonic idiosyncrasies to buy a Toyota. Well, the Mrs. complained enough about feeding the last BMW premium fuel and buying expensive tires that I just went and bought the Prius. Currently waiting for an oil analysis from Blackstone Laboratories to see if I can safely stretch the oci beyond the extremely conservative 5Kmile interval. Using Eneos 0W20 synthetic & genuine oil filter. Will report my results in the appropriate forum.
